Sonic Warehouse is dedicated to the promotion of new and experimental music. We seek to support local artists and to invite visiting performers, to curate events in adventurous ways, and to make our events open to all. We currently run live concerts in Edinburgh and Paris, as well as an online series.

Our Parisian series takes place in Gregory Ryan’s beautiful sculpture atelier, an intimate setting surrounded by stunning art work. As a result of the current restrictions we have been working to bring you an online series soon. Although we can’t wait to get back to some real live music-making, we will be continuing to provide online content so that music can be enjoyed by even more people, from anywhere in the world. Once we can make some more concrete plans for live music we will confirm our new Edinburgh venue(s) but for now it’s our little secret…

In addition to live and online events, we promote recorded music by Sonic Warehouse affiliated artists, and we are working on a new FANZINE which will include reviews, interviews and featured artists. Children are always welcome at our concerts – in fact under-18s go free to any SW event – and we even do workshops for children (and big children), from showing them ways to use electronics to creatively manipulate their voices to making a piano from bananas!
